The first year of (AC)³ bends to the end, time for the next PhD workshop.

This time the University of Cologne organized a workshop at a youth hostel in the north of Cologne from the 14th to 16th December. 22 participants learned about the topic “Getting Started”. It was also the chance to get to know each other better, especially the newly employed PhD students.

Beside general organizational issues like time management, writing process, motivation problems, how to talk to your supervisor and communication in general, the PhD students also discussed networking skills.
